New Arrivals
2012 Bodegas Alto Moncayo Garnacha $42.99 (Vinous 93 points)
Glass-staining ruby. Pungent aromas of cassis, blueberry, smoky minerals, potpourri, licorice and spicecake. Juicy, supple and perfumed on the palate, with bright acidity lifting black and blue fruit, violet pastille and allspice flavors. Finishes very long and gently tannic, with suave oak tones coming up slowly.

2012 Quivira Vineyards Zinfandel Reserve $28.99 (Wine Advocate 92 points)
The 2012 Zinfandel Reserve (14.5% natural alcohol) is a selection of the finest barrels. Slightly denser than the Quest, with darker blackberry and black cherry fruits, a more primordial meatiness, a medium to full-bodied mouthfeel, and impressive purity and freshness, this is classic Dry Creek Zinfandel to drink over the next 5-6 years.

2012 Bodega Catena Zapata Malbec Mendoza $19.99 (Wine Spectator 90 points)
An intense red, showing concentrated flavors of dark plum, kirsch, dried beef and baker's chocolate flanked by notes of tobacco leaf and ginger. The powerful finish is filled with sanguine details. Drink now through 2020. 100,000 cases imported.

2013 Luli Chardonnay Santa Lucia Highlands $15.99 (Wine Advocate 90 points)
Aged half in stainless steel and half in neutral barrel, the 2013 Chardonnay Santa Lucia Highlands offers impressive minerality (especially at the price) to go with lively lychee, citrus blossom and peach-like aromas and flavors. Medium-bodied, pure, layered and decidedly pretty, drink it over the coming couple of years.
